01 / THE IDEA
What is RNGdle?
RNGdle Games is a quick daily number game built around one small moment of curiosity. Open the page, roll today’s number, and look for something unusual in its digits. Every date brings a shared number between 0 and 1,000,000, including both endpoints. You can compare the result with yesterday, notice a pattern, or simply enjoy a short break.
This is our independent interpretation of a daily random number game. The number, badge rules and scoring system belong to this site. No login, purchases or player submissions are involved, and the archive records shared daily results rather than a competition between people.
02 / THE DAILY RITUAL
How today's roll works
Tap Roll to confirm the result for the displayed UTC date. The number is already visible when the page loads, so you can read it even with JavaScript disabled. Tapping again cannot improve your luck: the date determines the result, and everyone using that date gets the same answer.
We hash the text rngdlegames-YYYY-MM-DD with SHA-256, read the full digest as an integer, and take its remainder after division by 1,000,001. A scheduled rebuild publishes the new day after 00:00 UTC. If you leave a tab open overnight, reload it after the rebuild. Your local timezone does not change the seed.
03 / KNOW YOUR NUMBER
Rarity score explained
Our rarity score describes recognized digit patterns, not the odds of one exact number appearing. We count how many integers in the entire allowed range match each badge. When several badges apply, the least common matching pattern supplies the score. We never add overlapping probabilities together.
The formula is 100 × (1 − matching population / 1,000,001), rounded to three decimal places. A number with no recognized pattern receives 0.000. A round hundred has a population of 10,001 and scores 99.000. A high score means a scarce pattern under these rules; every individual value still has essentially the same chance in our hash mapping.
04 / LITTLE DISTINCTIONS
Badges and tiers
Badges use ordinary decimal notation without leading zeroes. Zero and Million mark the two endpoints. Repeating digits covers values such as 77 or 4444. Palindrome means the digits read the same in either direction, such as 1221. Round hundred includes every multiple of 100, including zero. A roll can earn several badges at once.
The tier follows the score: Everyday below 99, Rare from 99, Epic from 99.5, and Legendary from 99.99. These labels belong to this game and carry no official status elsewhere. The Everyday badge simply means none of our listed patterns matched; it does not make the number a losing result.
05 / A SEPARATE MEASURE
EP vs rarity score
EP is a small experience value attached to a daily result. We award 10 base EP, add 5 for each matched pattern badge, then add the rarity score divided by 10 and rounded to the nearest integer. The fallback Everyday badge adds no bonus. For example, 1221 has one pattern badge, a 99.801 score and 25 EP.
EP and rarity answer different questions: one rewards the number of recognized features, while the other describes the scarcest feature. EP is not a currency, a saved account balance or a claim about rewards in another game.
06 / THE SHARED RESULT
Today's rarest roll
There is only one shared roll today, so it is today’s rarest and most common result at the same time. We do not collect private player rolls or claim a live leaderboard. The daily archive lets you compare real dates and see which recorded result has the highest pattern score so far.
| Date (UTC) | Daily number | Rarity score | EP | Badges |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 913,364 | 0.000 | 10 | Everyday |
07 / GOOD QUESTIONS
FAQ
Is RNGdle Games an official game?
No. RNGdle Games is an independent third-party site, unaffiliated with any official RNGdle game, creator or organization. This is rngdlegames.com’s own daily roll, not an official number.
Can I roll a different number today?
No. Each UTC date has one shared result. Rolling again reveals the same number. A new number arrives after midnight UTC and the daily site rebuild.
Does a higher rarity score make my exact number less likely?
No. The score measures the prevalence of recognized digit patterns. Individual numbers have essentially equal chances under the hash mapping; a badge describes a pattern, not a prediction.
Do I need an account to keep or share a result?
No account is needed. You can copy your result or download a score card. The daily archive keeps the shared results, while your browser remembers your revealed date when local storage is available.
